![]() Even though the genre of Eurodance has virtually ceased to exist, its elements can be seen in Dance-pop and its sub-genres, Europop and Romanian Pop. ![]() The songs and beats are usually very positive and upbeat and almost always in English regardless of the artiste's nationalities, although sometimes words and phrases from other languages have been used. This genre is heavily influenced by the utilization of rich melodic vocals either exclusively by itself or sometimes with rapped verses. ![]() Eurodance reached its peak in the early 90s but gradually faded away due to the more advanced Techno and House music which gained ground. ![]() With the decline of Disco, dance music leaned more towards Eurodance since Rock music was also entering the mainstream. Eurodance is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the late 80s, primarily in Europe.
